Discussion Forums - Questions about SwapaDVD

There are a lot  of series, seasons & mulit-disk sets listed. I am looking for an ok way to ask for a better deal on the series/sets. How can I go after series/sets, without offending people or the swapa system?

If it's a set with a WL then you probably won't get a deal but it if it's a set with multiple copies in the system then I figure it doesn't hurt to ask politely.  Always check the sender's tower, they may have more things you'd like. They may be willing to throw in a freebie or two rather than charge less for a DVD set. 

You might find someone who is cranky but my experience here is most people are pretty friendly and willing to try to work something out.

This is probably not the answer that you might be looking for, but when I can't find what I want on this site, I go to SecondSpinDisk.com. If you buy a minimum of 10 DVD's, they discount them to $2.00 each - including shipping. I was able to get seasons of TV shows and some movie box sets that are not posted on here - for $2.00 each. 

While not a discount, you may find WL items you want more quickly by following the WL Multiples thread in the Bazaar.

When I am looking at series I see if they have more than one season of the series and then see if they would go down a credit or two for the two seasons.
