I really enjoyed this movie. I've read the book, and thought the movie went along good with it. Really funny at times. Good watch for someone who enjoys a Christmas story with some humor in it.

I highly recommend this instructional video for any violin player who has reached the intermediate level or higher. I can praise this video enough. I'm an advanced fiddler, and learned tons of new things from this. Richard takes you through a couple of tunes from his album, The Grass is Greener, and goes lick by lick to see exactly what he's got up his sleeve that makes his variations so great. The explanations are easy to understand, and all the things he shows makes for a better fiddler. Some of the things he talks about are bowing patters, harmony, double stops, hemieolas and practicing. Get it!

For anyone who has listened to (and liked) Will the circle be unbroken albums 1, 2, and 3, this dvd is a must! Great performances of favorite artists, good song selection.
