"A western typical of early seventies TV fodder but beefed up by the always welcome presence of Clint Walker. The man can do no wrong and after getting the !st series of Cheyenne and enjoying it I looked for more. This movie was it. Good all round action, not the best western around but with lots of good character actors and old Tucson as a backdrop well worth a look.Five stars because of Walker. Now how about Yellowstone Kelly and Gold of the Seven Saints?"

"Clint Walker goes back a long time. You gots ta like this big boys style. Yuma is a great movie, simply because of Clint, they don't make movies like these anymore. Trust me, you'll like the movie."

"An easy way to pass a few hours - the best thing about the film is Clint Walker - his looks, his voice...his voice...A "formula" style western of its day - interesting to see John Kerr from "South Pacific" in a supporting role - would've been good to see more of him! A nice twist in the story."

"YUMA is a solid little Western, given good production values, and a with solid cast. In addition to Clint Walker, also featured are Barry Sullivan and Edgar Buchanan. The plot, while prosaic, is still well fleshed out, and the surprize ending is nicely handled. Recommended."
