Movie Reviews

Roger, you talk too much

(3 out of 5 stars)

"Yes has been my favorite band since the early 70's (yes, I am that old). So naturally I enjoy seeing interviews, hearing some history about the band, etc. But Roger Daltry's narration was irritating beyond belief. He seemed to know exactly when not to speak - and then spoke. His narration provided little information; it was mostly overly exaggerated adjectives about the greatness of YES (don't get me wrong - they are great, but Daltry made it sound phoney). The audio quality was decent, but there wasn't even one uninterrupted song in the video. I did learn more about YES in this one video than everything I previously knew. It was nice to see the human side of these larger than life (no pun Chris) musical geniuses. They have always been somewhat of an enigma and videos like this help take away some of the mystery. Even though I gave it 3 stars, I still feel it was worth the cost (about $10 on ebay)."

THE DREAMSCAPE'S THEY PROVIDE ARE CRYSTAL CLEAR AND POSITIVE, NO OTHER BAND ON THIS PLANET HAS SURVIVED THIS LONG AND CAN STILL PRODUCE REAL POSITIVE PYCRONAUTIC VISIONS THAT ARE MEANINGFUL TO ONE'S PAST AND PRESENT SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION!"
