More funny than gorey

"This movie was whacked! It was funny and way campy 80's direct to video filming. It was like watching an 80's TV sitcom like Growing Pains or Family Ties, where the siblings go and kill some of their annoying relatives and clean it all up before Dad gets home!!
The acting was pretty decent for this low budget film. The gorey effects weren't bad, too. This is not top blockbuster horror like SAW or SCREAM, just a little flick that is a fun cult classic to watch to pass the time.
It gets 4 stars for effort and the fun it brings showcasing all that the eighties provided---girls and guys with big hair, sweaters with crazy designs and lingo like "Totally awesome" and "Oh My Gawd!" mixed in with a little blood.
This movie will appeal to anyone who likes low budget horror and grew up on the 80s. So, pop the popcorn, throw on some jelly bracelets and sit back and watch with glee!!"
Thanks, Camp!

"Camp Motion Pictures has done us all a favor by unearthing this strange yet entertaining gem from the awesome 80s. Jon McBride directed and starred in this one, which plays out like a really bizarre sitcom. Even though it's called Woodchipper Massacre, there are not any splatter or bloody scenes. It is full of offbeat humor though and you just GOTTA love that consumer grade vhs camcorder look! At times you almost feel like you're watching someone's home movies. The special features are also great, and they include interviews with the cast and McBride. Pick this up if you are a fan of SOV films or, dare I say it, bad 80s fashion."
