Movie Reviews

Hard to Watch
R. Stringini | Addison, IL United States | 10/27/2004
(1 out of 5 stars)

"This movie is just plain terrible. While the script and story may have been interesting, the fact that the movie is so poorly lit, shot, and recorded ends up making the movie impossible to watch. I swear, most of the time you never even know what you are watching if it's a night shot, or a shot in a dark club (which is often), and the sound is so terrible that you can hardly even hear half the lines spoken by the actors. It also doesn't help that the acting is well below average, although the shoddy script and horrid adlibing really don't add much to the effect.

The movie does have a little bit of novelty. One is seeing Julie Strain towards the begining of her career. The other is seeing Sunset Thomas in one of her only non-pornographic roles. It's also interesting because I believe this movie was filmed before she had breast implants, and from what it looks like, she may be mildly pregnant. She also is very rarely naked in the film (she dies in the first ten minutes, and you see her topless corpse for two seconds).

Other than that little bit of novelty, this movie is a waste. The story could be great, I don't know, because I couldn't see or hear much of the movie. It is pretty cheesy though, and may be good for a laugh."
