"Really like the way the stories were told.Great narrator.Surprising how dramatic changes in history developed because of weather. Sometimes your left with the question, was it just a coincidence or an a outside force."

"I must admit, it is my fault. I should have at least sampled some of the show before buying into it, on the more expensive Blu-Ray yet! They take one event that can be totaly covered in 5 to 10 minutes and stretch it into a one hour show. Much of it is annoyingly repeated over and over and over again. Same video clips repeated as often. I expected they would have maybe multiple "Ice Accidents", Numerous earthquakes, or whatever, in one show. But instead, they drag, stretch and milk only one happening to last so boringly long! Are they really running out of topics to televise on the overly saturated airwaves?
Next, to top it off, many of the video clips are extreemly poor quality from the start. Then they 'crop' off the originaly full-screen newsfootage on the top and bottom so it fits into a widescreen format, thus, much of what was on the video is now cut off.(What about "pillarboxing" as many widescreen programs wisely do?) The nature of cropping like this requires 'zooming in' on what's left, thus everything is so horribly blurry, you can't even make out faces or names on so much of the program, even on Blu-Ray! I've seen better quality on VCR tapes!
Horrible, boring program with no repeatability, and litteraly unwatchable video, esp. for High Definition. The worse disc I bought to date. Unfortunately, Amazon forces me to use one star; it deserves zero."
