THE GIRL NEXT DOOR (3:50) Tracks #1-5 are from a London, England performance recorded on March 25, 1965. Tracks #6-8 are from a Brussels, Belgium performance recorded in late March 1965. The audio and video quality is very good on all songs. The England performance on this dvd is different than the one on the Jazz Icons dvd, but the Belgium performance is the same as on Jazz Icons. Actually, the audio and video quality of the last 3 songs (the Belgium performance) is a little better on the Jazz Icons dvd. 3 of the 5 London performance tracks are on the "Legends of Jazz Guitar - Volume One" dvd. Until Jazz Icons brings out another Wes Montgomery dvd, This one is good to have for the first 5 tracks all together in one spot." |
