Rough start and then it got going. Michele Williams was not a good pick for Marilyn but as you watched, she made more sense. The question is how much was true and how much sensationalized.

Such a good movie!

Michelle Williams IS Marilyn--no chance of a side-by-side visual comfusion, but she has the mannerisms, the moves, the craziness perfectly down pat.

Eddie Redmayne is well cast as the little person whom the great star chooses to entrance. He's gangly enough to be convincingly naive, sucked into a brief fling that he knows is doomed to not last.

Emma Watson, Kenneth Branagh, and Judi Dench are all strong in support.

After seeing this one, find The Prince and the Showgirl, the movie that this movie is about.
