One Of The Best PPV's Since The Split
D.P. | California | 05/07/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This was the PPV that saw the introduction into another WWE creation called "The Elimination Chamber". Not ever seeing this match or this type of cage before, it was definately something watching. All the emotion, suprizes, and matches made this one of the greatest WWE PPV's they've done since they split the roster into two shows.

Tables Match: Bubba Ray & Spike Dudley, Jeff Hardy vs. 3 Min. Warning & Rico - This was great match full different table spots from various parts of the arena. The ending with the reunion of Bubba Ray & D-Von was without a doubt the moment of the night with me.

Crusierweight Champion Jamie Noble vs Billy Kidman - Above average crusierweight match but didn't do a good job following up the previous match.

Hardcore Match: Womens Champion Trish Stratus vs Victoria - It says something when these two had a better hardcore match than a majority of the males wrestlers who've had one. This looked like a real fight using all these weapons & Victoria in this "psycho bytch" gimmick just makes this match better.

WWE Champion Brock Lesnar vs Big Show - This was a match that was more about getting a storyline over than having an actual match. Brock had a broken rib so he was limited in what he could do but in 4 mins., he did an F-5 to Big Show, had Heyman turn his back on him (which was being set up for weeks) & have Show cheat him out of the WWE Title.

Three Way Elimation Match: WWE Tag Team Champions Edge & Rey Mysterio vs Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit vs Los Guerrerros - Without a doubt, match of the year for me. You haven't seen off the chain tag team wrestling in WWE since this match. A wrestling clinic put on here by all six men.

Elimination Chamber Match: World Heavyweight Champion Triple H vs Shawn Michaels vs Rob Van Dam vs Kane vs Booker T vs Chris Jericho - This match didn't disappoint & honestly, was the best Chamber match to date. Everyone looked like they legitly could win the belt as one point or another and this match had alot of moments in itself. Like RVD jumping off the walls like he was SpiderMan and even leaping off the top of one of the cells onto HHH & injuring his throat in the process...and even HHH's performance after that injury is something worth watching.

Overall, a perfect addition to anyone's collection.

"Survivor series was awesome. Every match was superb except the women's match. I will review an rate every match out of 10.6man table match: Bubba Ray Dudley, Spike Dudley, and Jeff Hardy vs. 3 minute warning. This was one of the best openers to a ppv I have ever seen in my life. I know a good table match when I see one. 7/10WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Jamie Noble vs. Kidman This was a great cruiserweight title match. Lots of high flying moves 6/10Women's Championship: I absolutley HATED this match. It was so boring from start to finsh. I'm like wake me up when it's over. BAD match 2/10WWE Tag Team Championship Triple Threat: Edge and Rey Mysterio vs. Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit vs. Los Guerrero's This was a great match. You knew it would be good because of all when all 6 of those competitors get in the ring. Great Match. 9/10WWE CHampionship: Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show This was a decent match except the fact that it is a little short but still good. 8/10Elimination Chamber Match for The WOrld Heavyweight Championship: Triple H vs. Kane vs. Booker T. vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Shawn Michaels. Two words. SHOW STEALER!!!. This was insane and FAntastic. Triple H gets seriously hurt in this match. 100000000/10So if your thinking is survivor series worth buying. Yes it is. Go buy it just ignore the women's match. And you'll see how triple h was hurt."
Wwe finally gets it right.

"1.3MW/rico vs. Bubba dudly/spike dudly/jeff hardy(table match: great match, fast paced and some cool table spots. Just as good or maybe even better than the 2000 royal rumble table match.10/102.Kidman vs. Jamie noble(cruiserweight title):good match, a ton of nearfalls and jamie hits the coolest ddt ive ever seen.8/103.Trish vs. Victoria(womens title):better than i was expecting, nothing all that great though and a weak finish brings it down.6/104.Big Show vs. Brock Lesnar(wwe championship):short but pretty good.it's just a shame that brock had to lose his first match to the untalented big show because of the injury. 7/105.Edge/rey vs. los guerrero's vs. angle/benoit(tag titles): dissapointing, i thought this was going to be the match of the night but turned out to a be a let down. but it still wasnt bad, it was just alot slower than i expected.6.Steiner debutes and kicks off his horrible reign in the wwe. but dont worry because several monthes later he becomes part of a jobber tag team with test so that's pretty cool.7.Elimination Chamber-RVD was on the mark on every single move, he came up with some crazy moves naturally the first half of the match is good but once rvd get's pinned the match slows down but there were some cool spots where jericho and hbk get tossed through glass. once it gets down to HBK and HHH things pick up again.so all in all this is one of the best ppv's wwe has put on in a long time."
Very Good

"Six-Man Table Match

Jeff Hardy, Bubba Dudley, & Spike Dudley vs. 3-Minute Warning, & Rico

Really, really good opener. Funny to see Jeff and Bubba on the same team. Lots of chaos and action in this one. Great ending too.

WWE Cruiserweight Championsip

Jamie Noble vs. Billy Kidman

Another good match. Kidman looks great here and also the debut of his current music.

Hardcore Match for the Women's Championship

Trish Stratus vs. Victoria

Wouldn't you know it...this is actually a good match. The abrupt finish is what prevents this from being better. A nice surprise.

WWE Championship

Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show

Blink and you'll miss it. Very quick but full of intensity and a great display of power by Brock. Still a good match.

Triple-Threat Elimination Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship

Edge & Rey Mysterio vs. Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit vs. Los Guerreros

Second best tag team match in a long time. All six men are top-notch performers and prove why in this match. Amazing.

Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Championship

Triple H vs. Chris Jericho vs. Booker T vs. Kane vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Shawn Michaels

HBK's return to regular action. A brutal, well wrestled match. It was totally new to everyone at the time so the excitement was at a fever pitch. Fantastic match especially from RVD's performance. Great main event."
