This is Volume 1 of Season 4, the first ten episodes. With Season 4, the show expanded from 10 episodes to 20 per season. A word about Ragnar's brother Rollo here. In history he became known as Gaange Rolf, for as he grew, he became so physically imposing that a horse couldn't carry him and thus was obligated to walk. You'll also know him, by this point in the series, as an imposing berserker. After helping conquer Paris, Rollo became the first ruler of Normandy. Yes, as in Vikings and French propagating and forming their own empire. This is when terms like Duke, Baron, and Prince started being bandied about much more.

Rollo is the great-great-great-grandfather of William the Conqueror, or William I of England, after the battle of 1066. the Normans to this day actually own much of England. Through William, he is one of the ancestors of the present-day British royal family, as well as an ancestor of all current European monarchs and a great many claimants to abolished European thrones. It's quite the strange feeling writing this. My grandmother on my father's side, being a relative, was invited to all the British royal functions. Some of Rollo's bloodline may indeed be in my own.
