Classic underrated show, sub par dvd release

"The 2003 dvd release has a listed runtime of 292 minutes while this new 2007 edition has only 220 mins. One wonders what got cut. The '03 original contained several commentaries CC apparently took issue with, as well as the original pilot and deleted scenes. It was fairly stacked with features. Looks like this newer version takes away over an hour of them. Too bad. It's a great show, some of the best sketch comedy ever, just try to find the 2003 version if you can."

"This is the best sketch comedy ever. The UCB is a group of improv people who got a break on Comedy Central. Their skits are the funniest around. My last review was not published because I named my favorite skits, guess I won't do that now, but that should give you an idea of where the UCB take their sketches. You will laugh over and over as you watch this. Like the title says, do not pass this up."

"UCB is the greatest thing ever brought to the world of comedy. This first season is fantastic and it just gets better. anyone who has not seen this should definately check it out. I have been watching it since i recorded it on vhs in the late 90's and it never gets old. I was so happy when I found they made the first 2 seasons on dvd. I hope to everything that is still holy in this world that they produce the final season on dvd, and soon. I am tired of watching it on .avi files and vhs tapes, it just isn't the same. BUY THIS AND BUY THE SECOND SEASON. You won't regret it..."
