Weird and super slow moving and boring story. A real big disappointment for Scarlett Johansson.

I thought I'd give this movie a look-see, just because Scarlett Johansson was in it. Frankly, she was this movie's only redeeming feature.
The opening montage should have been a warning, but I know from childhood that you don't judge a book by its cover, so I extrapolated that to "Don't judge a movie by its opening credits." Well, I was WRONG! How I should have extrapolated the saying was, "Don't judge a movie by its DVD cover," because that would have given me a chance to bail before I wasted 108 minutes trying to find a plot. I'm not a movie snob or budding film-maker, so most of the esoterica was wasted on me. I am a huge fan of science fiction, X-Files, Stephen King and Scarlett Johansson, so this should have been right up my alley, in my wheel-house, whatever. The basic idea of the movie has already been done in SPECIES, so other aspects were focused on, like the boring hunt for solitary male victims. Unfortunately, the boring part of the hunt was all that came through for me.
Scarlett gets 5 stars, but the rest of the movie sucks the life out her, so she, in essence becomes the victim of this alien movie.
