(5 out of 5 stars)
"I have only gone through the first 3 hours of this course, so this review is based upon roughly 25% of the course.
Jason is a great communicator and has his formula for demystifying things down pat! He first explains a concept in regular, easy to understand language, then introduces you to the formal buzzwords as he gets to them.
Using only a whiteboard, his simple drawings are sufficient to get the concept across. After covering the theory, he presents problems typically found in a textbook, and proceeds to solve them. His approach to explaining a solution is invaluable and worth 5 stars alone.
His emphasis on "always draw a picture" and "start with what you know" is applicable to all math and physics courses, and you see where it comes in helpful because he has done problems where he himself did not see a clear path to the solution at first.
His conversational manner is perfect...not dry, not trying to be a comedian, but just explaining it the way your best friend would explain something to you, giving you tips and traps to avoid along the way.
I have purchased 10 of his courses just to keep my brain active, and they are all consistently good. I have actually written him with a suggestion for improvement, which was "don't change a thing!".
This is one of those rare products that is done right and delivers what it says...you will understand the material, he makes it interesting and relevant, and be able to solve problems.
*** Update ***
I have now completed this course.
The very last lecture in this course is on Doppler Shift. The clear manner in which Jason explains this material is, in my opinion, worth the cost of the entire course alone.
For one thing, Jason explains how memorizing a single formula which he refers to as the "granddaddy" formula allows you to not have to memorize two other formulas.
Secondly, there is a confusing aspect of Doppler Shift that involves making a decision as to whether to use a plus or minus sign in two different portions of a formula. Jason explains his method of making this determination so clearly that I doubt I would ever get this wrong.
Another observation that I would like to make on all of the courses I've seen thus far is that when Jason solves a problem he is not simply plugging numbers into a formula but offering a completely logical explanation while doing so. As a byproduct of this you basically get a good review of algebra.
Based upon the consistency I have seen between this and his other courses I would highly recommend any course produced by Jason at [..]"
