This is a wonderful 40-minute video about trucks for young children! It is recommended for ages 1-8 years old. My son first discovered this video at the age of 2 and at almost 4 years old now, he still cannot get enough!
What makes this video different from other truck videos is that it is not gimmicky and does not feature any "bad acting" (which from a parent's point of view can get pretty annoying after a few viewings). This video is different. It starts and ends with the catchy "Twenty Trucks" song, which my kids love. The song introduces all 20 trucks that are featured on the video. From this song, my kids have not only learned the names of 20 different types of trucks, but they have also learned how to count up to 20. After the song, the video then introduces each of the 20 types of trucks featured. It shows the actual trucks in action -- no cartoons or silly game stuff -- the real trucks doing real jobs. Throughout the footage, there is narration of a child talking with an adult explaining all the things each truck is designed to do.
These are all the types of trucks featured: tracker trailer, snow plow, dump truck, bus, cement mixer, vacuum truck, grapple truck, bucket truck, logging truck, truck crane, fire engine, ambulance, water truck, flat bed trucks, car carrier, tow truck, garbage truck, street sweepers, monster trucks, and pickup trucks! My kids have learned so much about all of these trucks from this video. I would highly recommend it for any young children interested in trucks!
