"This is way too scary for a child to watch but great adult entertainment..although I always use my "skip" button after initial viewing of this series..just a bit too risque for me :) ..great storyline that makes it worthwhile to view in spite of the places I "skip" :)You'll love it!"

"The HBO series of the Japanese creating synthetic blood and vampires emerging in the warm blooded people's society in South Louisiana is nothing short of genius. This story revolves around Sookie (probably short for nookie)Stackhouse and her dumb jock brother Jason. Sookie a waitress at a local pub and grub surrounded by huge live oaks and spanish moss and mystery. Sookie being a gap toothed blonde yummy with great legs is enamored with a surprise visitor; her first encounter with Bill the Vampire. She saves Bill form a pseudo-blood sucking undead couple who pray on vampires for their search of the powers of the undead by draining the vampires blood, drinking it, and selling it for profit and power. We learn vampires are suseptible to silver; move over werewolves! This is a fantastic series and story. Vampires are unveiled for all their personalities and egos possessed in their human forms. Add in the idiosyncratic human factor, sprinkle in some imagination and a love of the mystical, and this is a formula for an award winning series that entertains and begs one to ask...."What if?""
