"Giselle Roque de Escobar is a good instructor. She's a little over the top, but her mood is infectious and if you don't feel like working out, just make a start, and before you know it you'll have finished this fun workout.
It's fast paced but it's easy to follow. It's another Latin workout that makes it interesting because you're using different dance patterns than you'd use in a regular workout.
After she teaches you the base pattern/steps, you then add arms and directional changes. There is Salsa, Merengue and Advanced Salsa to name a few dances. It's about 32 minutes and you don't really feel like you've worked out, because it goes quick when you're having this much fun, but it's also fairly short. I like it."

"This is a very fun workout, but I find the turns hard to do (I cannot really see which way to go) and there are quite a few of them. Gisele is a very enthusiastic teachter who is very inspiring. Music is good and motivating."
Love Giselle, but hard to keep up with her! For fast moving

"Giselle de Escobar is an awesome latin dancer & choreographer. She has the patience of monk, used great analogies, very sweet & down to earth. She's very fluid & graceful & you can see her talent & love of dance easily. I've loved her since she did the teaching, choreography on Zumba.
This 40 min dvd is set at a dance studio plain walls 1 backup woman & 1 backup guy. You'll need more floor space probably & Giselle cues your left/right.
Each section has a 1-2 min breakdown tutorial done always in normal speed, never slower & builds to finish movements.
Warm-up: 6 min of dance moves w/arm movements like mambo & merenge & cha-cha (she jokes that everyone who knows her that that is her favorite word), which is just as complicated as rest of dvd.
Basic Salsa: step touches then builds to salsa to side, back/forth & V-step, turns & pivots w/different arm movements for 6 min.
Mambo: front/back, diagonal, v-step, mambo/salsa, etc. of mambo w/different arm movements
Merengue: light jog w/arm reaches to build heart rate, merengue w/arms (simple) then back to jog, then repeat several times, step w/legs crossing, pivots, step touches, circles for 5 min.
Advanced Salsa: step front/back, side to side, diagonal w/pivoting around for 6 min.
Samba: music gets flutey here, basic modified samba step ONLY & also circling, then sumba lunges (great for heart rate) for 5 min.
Afro Cuban: step to side & lift knees, small step w/slight undulation of body (great heart rate) for 4 min.
Cool Down: arm stretching (little fast), Achilles & calf stretching, standing spinal stretch & then all is repeated & shoulder rolls for 3 & 1/2 min.
There is a bonus 7 min Killer Kicks w/Violet Zaki.
This dvd was hard for me to follow though I own several latin dance dvds since I need the 1/2 speed practice before going normal speed which Trainer's Edge wouldn't allow Giselle to do. (She did a good amount of 1/2 speed on Zumba which was great.) Giselle's feet & other dancers moved faster then I'm used to as well.

"I'm latin and found the dancing pretty easy to keep up with but it was freaking boring!!!! She keeps you moving and the segments are short, but I got bored and disinterested. If you have any experience dancing you'll understand but if you have never danced latin in your life then you'll probably get a kick out of it. This video was alright...nothing to write home about."
