Got some old-fashioned westerns here, enhanced by modern technology (not CGI).
Monte Walsh is a favorite for me, about the end of an era, with trains and autos and corporatism bringing the age of the cowboy to a close.

Monte Walsh - A classic with Tom Selleck at his best in a western role. He was made for the Monte Walsh role! Many others such as Keith Carradine, George Eads and others played their roles well! A nice look at how cowboys lived and died. Yellowstone likely took cues from this movie! A must watch! A movie that you can watch over and over during the years!
Last Stand at Saber River - Alot like Monte Walsh but not quite as good but it did have a really intense beginning and ending! A must watch for Magnum P.I. fans!
Crossfire Trail - Good show! One of Selleck's best westerns! A must watch!

Tom Selleck is always entertaining no matter the type of movie but he is especially good in the Western movie format! Maybe he is a throwback to the era? These three movies are each great with wonderful supporting cast too!

Tom Selleck always does a great job, but he is especially suited to westerns. I loved all three of these.
