The most fascinating aspect of the DVD is how the cinematographer managed to pan through the paintings in ways that complement the musical selections and give this whole work much more 'action' and visual interest than you'd suppose possible. The camera takes you into the pictures. The music takes you back to the time of the paintings. Kincaid's special feature art lessons are great for the art lover or just art interested. He trains the viewer's eyes in a very relaxed way, focusing in on specific works and the little extra details you might not first notice in them.
