"The Poverty Row dark house whodunit TANGLED DESTINIES is an atmospheric little gem that involves stolen diamonds. Its original projection time of 64 minutes has in most cases been trimmed to under an hour. Contrary to product data here, this film does NOT run 90 minutes.
SYNOPSIS--
Passengers take refuge in an abandoned farmhouse after an L.A.-bound airliner makes a dense fog forced landing. When their generator-powered lights suddenly go out, a man is killed by a head blow and a half-million in gemstones he was carrying disappears. The victim's insurance investigator traveling companion suspects everyone despite having no clues to the homicide. He attempts with some help to solve the crime before another person dies mysteriously.
ABOUT THE MFR.--
ALPHA VIDEO offers bargain priced, often hard-to-find vintage movies that are ideal for those willing to skip DVD extras. Their transfers show no evidence of restoration, so quality varies from one title to the next, with "fair to good" being the average.
