Absolutely craptastic, no-budget kid stuff about a sassy feline (voiced by Eric "Julia's Brother" Roberts, of all creatures) that helps bring two troubled families together with its mystical powers. Yes, really. This awkwardly scripted, poorly acted, unfunny "comedy" needed a lot more of the talking cat and less of the humans.
Fun fact: according to IMDb this flick's director usually makes gay porn films and does these cheap talking animal kid movies as a sidebar. That might explain the scene where the two teenage boys seemed to be in such a hurry to get shirtless and hop in the pool together.
If your kids find this on Netflix and say "Oh cool, a cat movie, can we watch it?", for the love of Gawd, grab the remote out of their hands and stop them!!
It's only mid-February and I already have a "worst movie I've seen all year" contender!!
