"If you liked the DEF Comedy JAM series, you will love this movie as many of the comedians from DEF Comedy appear in this film. Very Funny. Above all else, if the critics say it is bad then you know it must be a great movie."

"'Talkin Dirty'is a hilarious comedy. If you view this movie for what it is, then you will have a fun time watching. When I first viewed this movie, many critics disliked it... I think it was because they didn't really know the actors and actresses involved. Let's face it, when blacks are involved many people do not understand some of the lingo or the culture associated with Black folks. There is profanity but no nudity, I would recommend this with a Pg-13 rating."
A good first-effort comedy movie starring Martin Lawrence.

"This movie was surprisely good and interesting. Martin Lawrence makes anything funny. However, the plot, along with the comedic co-stars, added to the formula of this winning comedy. The plot involves a comedy club, comedians, a club owner and his wife who has eyes for Martin. It shows how he struggles as an up- and coming-comedian, how he tries to get his act on stage, and how it all adds up to having a successful career, having a stage act at the club, and keeping the club owner's wife happy yet at arm's length in order to keep his job at the club. This is a movie that you want to watch at least two times so that you can catch everything that you didn't see or hear in the first viewing. There are plenty of faces that you now see on TV, on the silver screen, or voices that you hear on the radio. (hint: Ms. Dupree from the "Tom Joiner Morning Show" is the club owner's wife). There is also a cameo appearance by Yolanda King, daughter of Martin Luther King. This is a light-hearted comedy that you'll enjoy watching from time-to-time. It has just a touch of adult language. There is no nudity, and no boring moments. I recommend "Talking Dirty After Dark" for the home library."
