Movie Reviews
Great workout video!

"This is a great video for anyone trying to get a less intense workout. It definitely gets the heart rate going in the middle, but has a nice warm up and cool down session that doesn't leave you with a lot of pulled muscles or pain. It takes some time since it is about 45 minutes from start to finish for the routine, but the time goes by very quickly since it is so much fun. Richard Simmons is such a huge motivator and very encouraging. I use this video opposite days that I run as it also helps me stretch and keeps the daily routine without killing me. HIghly recommended!"
An exercise routine I can keep up.

"I had this on VHS 20 years ago when I used it to help me lose 40 pounds. I have tried all types of exercise videos and machines, but they are just so boring. I remembered how I enjoyed this video and was so happy to see that it was still available. It is EXACTLY the same as the original that was on VHS as far as I can tell. I don't know what the reviewer is talking about that says it is "different." Really an enjoyable, easy to follow exercise video that gets your heart rate up, but isn't too hard for beginners."
GREAT WORKOUT FOR ANYONE

"I CAN'T DO HIGH IMPACT WORKOUTS, BUT I CAN DO THIS ONE. I GET A GOOD WORKOUT, CAN STOP AND START AS NEEDED. THIS WORKOUT IS GREAT! IT WORKS OUT ALL OF YOUR BODY WITH THE MUSIC OF THOSE OLD SOCK HOP DAYS. RECOMMEND FOR EXERCISE AND TO MAKE YOU FEEL GREAT!!"
Workin' out is fun, fun, fun!

"I'm back to trying to lose those pesky pounds that are creeping back. (I lost 50 pounds about three years ago). I was trying to find a fun video that emphasized more of a dancing approach with good music. I found it. It's an absolute delight to fire up this DVD and start workin' out with Richard Simmons. The music alone is enough to want to get my feet tapping and my body moving.
I've had great fun following the DVD and attempting all the dance steps. Fortunately I work out at home so no one sees me miss a step or heading in the wrong direction. I was always directionally inept. :-)
Positive Pointers:
1) Upbeat music with a live band.
2) Inspirational as Richard Simmons makes working out a positive experience.
3) Featuring the dancers at the end of the segment. Both naturally thin people, and people who lost weight, are included in this exercise video. At the end they are all given credit. It is very inspirational to see someone who has lost 100 pounds using Richard Simmon's work out plan.
4) Gentle work out that offers both a warm up and cool down session.
Negative Pointers:
1) I wish there was bit more explanation on how to perform a specific exercise. People who have never danced or attended an exercise class would benefit from more explanations on how to safely do some of the exercises shown."
A fun, low impact workout!

"This is a great low impact workout for those over 40 or with medical issues that won't allow high-impact aerobics. It's fun and easy for people not coordinated enough to do the dance moves required in some workout routines. While my husband won't join me (he thinks it's silly) it is fun especially for those who like oldies music. I find that the music lifts my spirits."
