I highly enjoyed this movie. For a low budget movie, the slime (The Stuff) moving was actually well done. There are commercials for The Stuff within the movie about how The Stuff (which controls minds) are great tasting and has low calories. What I liked about the segments was the catchy music. No wonder what looked like bird poop went off the shelves so fast. Unlike the cover would lead people to believe, The Stuff does not have a green glow.
What is really interesting is that a scene in which The Stuff goes up a wall was shot in the same room from the original A Nightmare on Elm Street. In A Nightmare on Elm Street, a character's blood exploded onto the ceiling after the dead body was sucked into the bed. The effects from both movies were able to work because the room can turn upside down.
This DVD release begins with old trailers that make it seem as if those horror movies (Slugs, House, and more) will be released for the first time soon. That might seem pointless, but I think that it was a nice touch.
