I rarely if ever write a review, but after watching this film, I feel extraordinarily compelled to do so. Never has a film so enraged me at the atrocities taken by man in the name of God and religion. For every freedom loving man and woman in the world, this film should make you really think about the consequences of Sharia law and what it means to every woman and girl in the world. NO ONE should be treated as property in the name of God. I highly recommend this for everyone (except children not old enough to understand or appreciate). It's not an easy film to watch - nor should it be. It does contain a very, very graphic scene at the end. Nonetheless, you should watch and appreciate America and all that this country stands for!

Having owned this movie, I can tell you there is a reason for the R rating. That doesn't mean it is not a worthwhile movie to view. It means you really need to be careful who is watching this movie with you. Just a friendly hint. This has got to be one of the most graphic representations of the atrocities that occur to these women I have seen to date. The heart wrenching moments are unbelievable as you witness the injustice carried forth and the reasons behind it. An innocent woman must face the unspeakable acts brought on by none other than her own husbands false accusations. What is the most disturbing is the ending of which I will not describe as it has to be seen to believe it could happen. Even the children are encouraged to participate. With each heart stopping moment, the ending will have you feeling angry, than sad, than the injustice will bring the anger up again. If you have a light stomach for the reality of this sort of incident, please bypass this movie. I have yet to be able to watch it the second time.
