An incredibly idiotic plot hole at the movie's end screws up what might have otherwise been a manageable Nick Cage actioner. No spoilers, but this is one of those story decisions that only scriptwriters on drugs or very lazy directors would allow. Cage puts forth a similar effort to many of his movies - in this case, a bank robber that the audience is supposed to sympathize with. Although Cage's character is ostensibly a genius, he manages to do some very stupid things while attempting to manage recovering his estranged daughter from a kidnapper in this somewhat light-hearted "Taken" clone.
