Member Movie Reviews Brad S. (Snibot) from DALLAS, TX Reviewed on 1/3/2012... Probably one of the most intense set of books I have ever read. It actually translates very well to the big screen in this adaptation. Noomi Rapace is incredibly believable and more than a little frightening and portrays Lisbeth to the writing in a way that I have hardly seen in the film industry - Genius! Michael Nyvist has a great performance as Mikael a rather low key reporter. First of all the writing follows well with the books (though I have not yet read The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest) which is great, there were some changes that were a little irritating, but they would have put a drag on the film, so artistically I get the decisions that were made. I would recommend this movie to any of the adult audience. HOWEVER, this is a really, really intense story and certainly not for everyone. The Thriller/Mystery Genre has a masterpiece in this trilogy! 3 of 3 member(s) found this review helpful.
