Movie Reviews

Best Anime Series Ever
04/14/2003
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I can sum this show up in one word: WOW! This anime is so great I can't even accurately describe beyond wow. This is a powerful piece of work, and it actually moved me. I know this sounds cheesy, but it's true. It had me on the edge of my seat until the last second of Kiss, the last episode, while all the time I was praying for Kurumi and Nakahito. If you love any shows that are funny, sweet, moving, and have a point, Steel Angel Kurumi is for you! Please buy every single DVD!!!"
Bah, that's not a sexual overtone...

"I pretty much took the nudity near the end to be a symbol of purity, but that's just me.

This is a great end to the series. The comedy is pushed aside (but it'll come back later in Encore) for an all-out suspenseful last arc. The story of the Steel Angel Hearts comes full circle as Mikhail and Kurumi battle, releasing the dark side of Kurumi. This is where Nakahito's love for Kurumi and powers are put to the test. The end was touching and left me fully satisfied. Not the greatest anime, but one that I fully enjoyed."
Great Ending to a fun show.

"This was a great show to watch. The ending was fantastic. This becomes an emotional roller coaster ride. It is recommended to have seen the previous 3 DVDs. You hope all goes well as Kurumi attempts to rescue her master. As the disk comes towards the end, you want to slow her down before she destroys everything. The power of demons begin to surface from the heart of Kurumi. You may think it would become the end of the world. Fortunately, Nakahito would be there to save the day."
Kurumi! Kurumi! Kurumi!

"Okay, i love this series, it's now my fav series. Kurumi might be almost as dumb as a brick but she's so kawaii! Everyone is really, well except Kirinka who is cool still. The series is awesome and I'm waiting impatiently for Encore to come out so I can see the wrap up. I did think the end was too fast and not long enough, but still it was good. So I highly recommend getting it and watching it!"
