Although supposedly set in 1969, neither clothing nor hair styles indicate the storyline takes place in any era other than today. The plot (such as it is) is hinted at but never fleshed out. But then one wasn't really necessary for this boring foray into the torture porn genre. Avoid this. Sadly, this was just a boring affair. I had pretty high hopes for it too being that I'm a huge fan of his father's, George A. Romero, body of work. But this one had no budget, no good actors and really no real appeal. This could have been a lot better if his father had had some sort of hand in the project, but I'm guess Cameron wanted to do it all himself. So what we're, the viewer, left with is a wasted hour and a hour... as well as a bitter taste in our mouths. Maybe his next film shall have more to chew on then a wanna be mesh of Night of the Living Dead meets Texas Chainsaw Massacre. 1 of 1 member(s) found this review helpful.

What made me most intrested in this movie was that it was created by George A. Romero's son, but I don't want it to sound like thats the only reason I bought it. But as far as the movie goes, I enjoyed it, though there wasn't much blood or frantic chases. The story is original, which I like, and the acting was great! I woundn't per say that I would recomend it to anyone, but I can say that it good for any movie collecter such as myself, I have most of Cameron's fathers work and I would like to see more Cameron in there, so therefore I can sum this up by say, "The movie wasn't bad, the acting was great, the story was original, and the stage setting was absolutley superb"" Not too bad... rebis | midwest | 02/21/2010 (4 out of 5 stars) "Kind of a 70's throwback, and of course it is pretty well a texas chainsaw rip-off,
