A fun filled hour of music, stand up comedy skits and religion. A must for Statler Brother fans!

Best of Statler Brothers Video

"I enjoy this video every time I watch it. The Statler Brothers are the best singers and the music in this video is great. But also, there are some great comedy skits. It is pure entertainment at its best."

"First some history to those who never heard of "The Statler Brothers". The Statler Brothers got their start working with Johnny Cash (the man in black). Only two of the group are actually brothers (Don and Harold). Yet the original group (Lew DeWitt & Phil Basley) were close friends from same small town of Staunton, Virginia. Lew actually wrote their first big hit "Flowers On The Wall". Due to an illness, Lew DeWitt had to leave the group and Jimmy Fortune was hired on.

I missed watching their TV shows and the concerts. Great family entertainment! Yet, I can understand them wanting to stop and enjoy retirement life. You don't have to now! Just watching these reruns until a new one comes out on the market.

Harold is funny! He could have made it back in the days of Red Skelton, Jack Benny, etc. were on TV. Yet, he is at his best like George & Gracie Burns when preforming with his brother Don.

I can't watch very many of the new TV shows and/or movies now. Too much violence and dirty language. This is something that you can sit down and not have to worry about what your little ones hear and/or see."
Thank you Statlers...

"My first encounter with the Statlers was back in 1971 and since then I've been i die-hard fan. This DVD has very good quality and sound - the only negative thing I can say is that it stopped playing after 60 minutes... Harold has always been a favorite - and here he have som really enjoyable jokes... I can't denie that I miss shows when Lew deWitt was one of the boys - but untill the next consert DVD is released, I'll play this one over and over..."
