The second season was a really good addition to the first. If you liked the movie and a few of the seasons, am sure you will enjoy this second season. I think it was my favorite season thus far and there were some really good shows out of this season. A must check out if you are a science fiction junkie.

According to the reviews a lot of these disks were getting scratched due to the poor storage system of the collectors edition. The Thin packs are packaged extremely well and I have not found this to be an issue...however the thin packs are more expensive..( you get what you pay for )You can take a chance and order the collector edition ( Amazon has a good record for refunding this item...too bad they haven't fixed the problem ) or spend more for a quality item, I opted for the second option." SG1 connects to a world being eaten up by a black hole. The black hole is sending gravitational waves through the worm hole. The Iris is shut but a gravity bubble begins to form slowing down time. The earth is in danger of eventual collapse from the increasing gravitational waves. A gravitational lens or bubble forms slowing time down relatively. A plan is devised to detonate a small nuclear bomb near the worm hole causing the tube to reconnect to another gate allowing the current gate to be shutdown.
