Movie ReviewsNot Enough Spiral M. Jespersen | Florida | 05/22/2006 (3 out of 5 stars) "Spiral is a great anime with lots of fun twist. However.. as the first dvd is titled "What Are The Blade Children" you'd assume this question among others would eventually be answered. But.. they aren't. Granted if you know japanese you can read the manga which is MUCH better, and hopefully TokyoPop will eventually start making use of their lincense to release Spiral in volumes so we can learn all the answers to the questions the anime touches on.
If you have the rest of the dvds, you should buy this, but don't expect any sort of answers to come from it, it's beyond the normal anime open endings by not even answering any of the questions that surround the theme of the show. Disappointing, but still worth the watch." |
