I thought this movie was excellent. The acting was pretty good. I collect slavery movies (although we really should have many more than we do) and I am glad to add this story to my collection. The last scene in my opinion is the best, when Simon is able to leave the plantation and he feels torn. It brought tears to my eyes. This is a must see movie, based on fact."
