The music is terrific in this DVD. My daughter will turn 5 soon and we are thinking of a Signing Time! themed birthday, I can't think of anything better to use as an example. With this DVD you learn everything needed to throw a first class party with words like invite, candles, cake, party and Happy Birthday. It's your special day so Happy Birthday to You!!!" The series nicely organizes topics, and when teaching signs helpfully describes why a sign is signed the way it is - this helps you to remember how to sign the word in the future. It also uses repetition and songs to reinforce the signs taught. I love to watch these DVD's with our daughter and learn with her - neither of us get tired of them and will watch them over and over, there is always something new to pick up becuase so many signs are demonstrated in addition to the ones that are focused on. They have been invaluable to us as our daughter has cerebral palsy and is non-verbal. She now signs over 300 signs and is speaking in complete sentences. We would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to learn ASL."
