The movie is based on an event that happened on the old series Sightings. It is supposed to be a true story and tells you the experience the family had at a house, and how the skeptics from the Sightings TV show tried to rule out scientific explanation. I think its one of the best ghost movies out there because it has a sense of believability: meaning it's not so off the wall you will say "yea right" its not a super high budget movie, the effects wont blow you away, but the story will. The Sightings episode this movie is based on is the one where the sightings crew actually video tapes a guy that has scratches appear on his body.
