They didn't even make the effort to film the movie in her hometown. The movie is filled with stereotypes and does a very poor job of tranlating some of the events in the Eggar book to the small screen. If you are a fan of Shania Twain, save time and just read the biography, or better yet visit the Shania Twain Centre in her hometown where you can see history for yourself.
