Cliff Robertson plays a former race car driver with a heavy conscience about the accidental death of his best friend. Leif Garrett is the deceased friend's son and mechanic/partner in the 'Car Circus' business - both making a living doing Evel Knievel style stunts as they travel the Islands. Inject a scientist with a need to deliver cases of a deadly virus to the CIA and you have a nice plot in which you can see some cool chases, stunts, and nice vistas of New Zealand countryside.
