As far as sex and language, it is a bit racier than the first movie. Part of the story-line is a bit more serious, addressing the good and bad aspects of marriage and motherhood. Still lots of light-hearted fun and silliness, too. This rather lenghty movie starts out with a fabulous gay marriage ceremony for (who else but) Carrie and Charlotte's 'best gay friends'. Carrie is concerned that her marriage to Big has become too mundane and unexciting; Charlotte is overwhelmed by motherhood; Miranda is unhappy with her boss's attitude; and, Samantha is still Samantha... single, promiscuous and avoiding menopause by taking tons of vitamins and hormones. The plot turns adventurous when old boyfriends surface, and the four girlfriends embark on a luxury trip to the Middle East. 2 of 2 member(s) found this review helpful.
