Another Family Friendly Flick from the Hulkster

""The Secret Agent Club" is probably one of Hulk Hogan's better vehicles. Well... at least it's a major imrovement over "Santa With Muscles".
The plot is straight foward enough. Hogan plays a secret agent who steals a prototype laser gun away from some bad guys(played hammily by Lesley Ann Down and Richard Moll). Back at home, Hogan(whose own son doesn't know what he really does for a living) has his cover blown when he is kidnapped by the bad guys. The gun falls into the hands of the son who hatches a plan to rescue his dad with the help of his young friends.
Pretty typical family action film, mainly notable for the fact that it predates the similarly themed(and far more successful) "Spy Kids". It has a few slow stretches, but overall "The Secret Agent Club" is a movie the kids will like... and the parents can tolerate."

"The people who ghost-wrote my brief but captivating autobiograohy (I can tell you no more other than "The Zeek is coming!"), told me that I believe the Hulk Hogan movies are all "Masterpieces!", and that they are my only love that rivals the love of my "American Heroes 2" DVD, a love that truly knows no bounds. So it follows that I love this movie, even though I watched it about five years ago, and distinctly remember not being entertained by it (McCinsey's Island on the other hand... now there's a movie!). However, my autobio says I love all of Mr. Hogan's movies (I certainly _do_ love the artiste who produces them), and so I must accordingly give this five stars."
