The poor sound quality really takes away from the story.

Movie Reviews

Just enjoy!

"Mixed reviews usually mean that a movie, book or CD is worth investigating. This movie is worth checking out. The hero actually is nice and the heroine has a lot to think about. She is engaged to someone whom her upper-crust family expects her to marry. However, when she meets the hero, she realizes that she doesn't love her fiance nor does she marry him. There is a twist after the heroine breaks the engagement. This movie's plot is predictable in some ways just like any other, but some of the characters are not. It's setting is international and it has a delightful edginess. What I like about this movie, also, is that the characters could be for real and not just some body that looks good on screen. They are not Hollywood's ideal for movies. One can really identify and empathize with these characters."
Wonderful Movie. A must see.

"I can not express how happy I was to see that this movie was available. I fell in love with A Secret Affair after seeing it on tv. It is a beautiful story with wonderful background for the film. I would recommend anyone who enjoys a wonderful love story to view this film."
Wonderful Movie!

"I was thrilled to be able to find this movie on your web site. I have been wanting to see A Secret Affair again ever since it aired on tv in '99. Visually this is a goregous movie with many of the backdrop scenes highlighting the city of Venice. I so enjoyed the rather vicarious trip this movie provided. The main characters of the story are crafted in a way that we easily come to care about them and the paths that they follow. This movie will make the romantics out there laugh and cry and smile. It is a wonderfully evocative story and I recommend it to all who love a love story."
