"The Scrapped Princess is still suffering from amnesia and going by the name of Pamela and continuing to live in domestic bliss with Furet in the capital. Her family and friends aren't in bliss though. Shannon, tailed by a Peacemaker, desperately searches for her, not knowing that his sister Raquel has already found Pacifica, and is allowing her to live out her dream of a normal life. But how long can this go on before the Royal Forces catch up to her? And what do the Royal Forces really want with her now? Do they still want to kill her, or is she now a bargaining chip to use in a war to conquer the world?
When you look at the back of this dvd and see episode titles using words like "elegy", "fleeting", "Mother's sorrow", and "collapse", you know a happy time is not going to be had for all. The episodes on this fifth volume more than live up to that hype, with emotional and heart-wrenching results. Pacifica's amnesia is merely the calm before the storm. Hopefully, our heroes will win out over the forces that have enslaved humanity.
Great characters, and a constantly surprising plot will keep you on edge and hold you in suspense for the last volume."
Amazing series, poor release.

"As much as I like Bandai I can't stop to wonder what is happening to them lately. The Scrapped Princess DVDs have no inserts, some misspelling on the subtitles, problems with the transfer and no extras other than the figures on the special editon of the series.
I highly recommend the series. However, if you like the extras that usually come in other animes you won't find any here."
