This is "old school" Scooby Doo at it's best. Five episodes I saw when I was a kid in the 70's. Now my 3 year old and 14 year old love to watch them. We took this Scooby Doo dvd on our cross country trip this summer and watched it atleast a dozen times and never got sick of it. Love it, love it!!

Finally, more classic episodes on DVD

"As with "Scooby Doo's Original Mysteries" this DVD will feature more episodes of the classic first season (1969) of "Scooby Doo Where Are You?" The first season of the show was by far the best and these episodes are great. My favorite of this group is "That's Snow Ghost" but the others are great too. I'm glad to see these episodes being released on DVD and hope they continue to release more of these DVDs. These episodes were made before they started adding characters like Scooby Dumb and Scrappy Doo, which I personally feel led to the demise of the show. I'm glad to see that Scooby Doo has made a comeback over the last few years."
Gotta love scooby!

"I've seen the other reviews. I did not purchase this video for me, I purchased it for my 3 year old little boy! And Scooby-Dum or not, he loves it! Episode after Episode - any video that has 3 or 4 movie flicks is GREAT for me AND my little guy! These movies are part of the original Scooby-Doo's - not too scary and not too mature for little ones. I've seen the new Scooby-Doo movies and they're NOT Appropriate for children under 5! If you've got a little one- this video is GREAT!"
BEWARE! Not the spookiest, funniest, or best episodes!

"As other reviewers point out, the case does not say anything about Scooby-Dum being in 2 of these episodes, but he is and that ruins them. They could have been great episodes without him but with him, they are only mediocre. Smart decision by the manufacturers and producers not to mention this fact as I would not have purchased this DVD if I had known. Hopefully they won't do this in the future with Scrappy. As a HUGH S-D fan, I feel Scooby-Dum and Scrappy were the demise of the show. What were the producers thinking? Which Witch is Which? and That's Snow Ghost are excellent episodes and are among my favorites. If you are as big a fan as I am, then these episodes alone are worth the price and should be in your DVD collection. The episodes on this DVD are not the "spookiest" as the title would have you believe. (Neither are they the funniest or best but they will get you through until the next compilation comes out.) Now, can they release the episodes with guest stars???...Batman & Robin, Jonathan Winters, Phyllis Diller, Mama Cass, Davy Jones, Don Notts, the Globetrotters, et. el."
