Santa gets his sleigh stuck in the Florida sand because his flying reindeer are jerks that abandoned him to go back to the North Pole (which is apparently green and sunny). The elves don't even care that he is missing and gets back to working on toys. Santa interrupts the kids trying to move his sleigh with multiple animals, including a man in a gorilla suit, to tell the story of Thumbelina. What happens after the fantastic story of Thumbelina? I don't want to spoil the greatness, but it involves a bunny in a firetruck.
RiffTrax makes this so much more hilarious than it is on its own.

This is EASILY the best Rifftrax I have heard so far. This wretched waste of film stock ranks with "Manos The Hands Of Fate" and "Monster A G0-Go" as both a bad movie and in the canon of MST3K/Rifftrax/Cinematic Titanic works. A kid's movie quickie about Santa trapped in Florida near what is now the defunct Pirates World amusement park with a horrible adaptation of "Thumbelina" spliced into the middle, "Santa And The Ice Cream Bunny" is a jaw-droppingly bad exercise in taking advantage of kids for a quick buck. It did have a release on VHS once upon a time but has not shown up on DVD until now. Rifftrax includes both the riff AND the original soundtrack for your added listening pleasure. Kevin, Mike and Bill are all in top form and you can almost HEAR the agony they are going through having to experience this travesty. Painful beyond belief. Just one word of warning: even if this IS a kid's movie, some foul language is used in the riff. Since the crew is no longer forced to cater to FCC regulations when it comes to language, it does get a little raw at times and includes material of a sexual nature that will not be appropriate for kids.
