The super bad audio and video makes this essentially unwatchable. Go else for laughs, this circus clown show is closed!

A Great set for any collector of comedy; 18 shows on a 4 DVD set. EVERYONE should see Red Skelton at least ONCE! Red Skelton was an icon in his day and his stuff is still funny if not hilarious. Very enjoyable for the entire family.
Movie Reviews
Poor quality.

"Red Skelton is funny, however the video quality is very poor as is the audio quality. Its not worth the money and is hard on the eyes. As I have read reviews of other DVD's done by Madacy Entertainment, poor video seems to be the norm. Buying DVD done by Madacy is a risky scheme."
A bargain of classic laughs
Midwest Book Review | Oregon, WI USA | 01/09/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)
"Red Skelton: America's Clown Prince (07411-06094, $14.98) is a bargain of classic laughs, packed with over 5 hours on 2 DVDs of both black- and-white and color footage. Disc 1 contains the shows "Lillian Martin", "The Iceman Goeth", "Desert Island", "Deadeye & The Alamo", and "Freddie's Romance" as well as extra vignettes, and Disc 2 features "San Fernando In Alaska", "Indiana", "Many Skeltons", "Freddie and the Baby", and "Live in San Francisco". Guests include a variety of famous personages such as Cesar Romero, Rhonda Fleming, and Don Knotts."
Don't order this,

"This is not worth your money. I ordered this for my father as he is a big Red Skelton fan. I thought it would have skits of the old shows with the focus on the skits that "Red" was in. It is 5 DVDs of the Red Skelton Shows, and you have to watch the whole show, and there was very little skits of Red Skelton in it. I was very disappointed in this, and so was my father."

"Wonderful dvd. Terrific array of characters and skits and laughs. This is real comedy. Red Skelton was the greatest comic and we miss him dearly. Good night and God bless."
