Because of the ugly presentation, I was fully expecting a cheesy, bad C or maybe even a D movie. I was wrong. THE RED RIGHT HAND is a stylish, complex study of human relationships. Think of THE BIG CHILL meets GHOST STORY. The acting was spot on, neatly capturing the angst of a high school reunion. The forced smiles, the hidden secrets. The plot came together nicely, providing a satisfying end that was totally unexpected. So, don't dismiss THE RED RIGHT HAND on it's appearance.
