"Rambo of Arabia"

"Sylvester Stallone takes his one-man-army routine to Afghanistan in this enjoyable comic-book adventure that aims for a "Lawrence of Arabia" grandeur but misses by a mile. Nevertheless, "Rambo III" (1988) is a better-than-average sequel, with expensive action sequences courtesy of director Peter MacDonald. Once again, Jerry Goldsmith's signature score keeps things moving. Solid chemistry between Stallone's John Rambo and Richard Crenna's Colonel Trautman, who finally participates in the explosive mayhem. Despite reviews to the contrary, some of the humor is intentional."
Not as killer as First Blood Part 2 but a very good sequel 7

"After the awesome 1982 film First Blood & it's d**n good sequel 1st Blood Part 2 1985. Rambo became an American legend Stallone returned to the role of John Rambo in 1988 in Rambo III. Richard Crenna returns as Colonel Truatman were also introduced to Robert Griggs played by Kurtwood Smith wish he would've gotten a bigger role. Marc de Jonge plays the movies villain Colonel Zaysen. Plot is Colonel Truatman is going to Afghanistan to deliver weapons to the rebel fighters Rambo refuses to go saying "His War is over." Truatman is captured by the Soviets so when Robert Griggs an Ambassador tells about it Rambo wants to go in Griggs says "The Government will deny your exsistance if your MIA or KIA." Rambo's like "I'm used to it." Rambo III is a good sequel & we wouldn't get Rambo IV for another 20 years. The story is straight forward & the action kicked @**. This was my favorite performance by the late Richard Crenna as Sam Truatman he had the strong dialogue & did more action wise."
