Member Movie Reviews David M. from WALKERTON, IN Reviewed on 5/26/2012... A bizarre movie and extremely well done. Somewhat disturbing subject matter. Camille Belle plays the deaf girl very good. This worked because the family was realistically portrayed as quirky and definitely dysfunctional. Take a look and you'll see what I mean. Drama and intrigue rolled into one. Edie Falco is practically warming up for her Nurse Jackie role here, as a mom who zones out on meds day and night. The two lead actresses are perfect in their respective roles and Martin Donovan is convincing as the dad with too many flaws to count.
