Member Movie Reviews Lori J. (viperess) from SHELBY, NC Reviewed on 10/25/2010... Another retelling of the Nuku Nuku series. This one however, doesn't match up to its older siblings. A lot of the comedy is gone & has been replaced with romance between Ryunoske, now a 14 year old & Atsuko, also known as Nuku Nuku. Ryunoske's dad, Kyusaku is no longer Nuku Nuku's creator but, simply a scientist trying to discover the cat androbot's secrets. Having seen the original & the TV series, I was bias I guess. I was expecting an action comedy & got an action romance instead.
