Adam Sandler movies can tend to be ridiculous -- when he plays ignorant and unrealisticly stupid boneheads from time to time. I was kind of expecting that. But I was hoping for a couple of hours by myself so I got a movie I know there was no chance my husband would dare watch with me (not in a million years...) And I was so pleasantly suprised to be laughing out loud over and over again. I absolutely loved the light-in-the-loafers son. Especially when he beat up the bully at school. I about peed my pants. THAT was one of the best fight scenes in film history! Someone needs to clip that and turn it viral! If you're homophobic, you are going to be uncomfortable a lot in this movie. Not like Brokeback Mountain, but you may want to pass nonetheless. But if you've got a sense of humor and you're a normal human being -- watch this." Don't get me wrong, it is ok, but more like a giggle here and there instead of a full on belly laugh the entire film. I can't even think of a scene that was my favorite, which is another problem, it's not that memorable. Overall, it is worth watching but not worth buying."
