"Let's be honest, are we looking for good acting or good plot in this kind of movie. Sybil Danning is the only reason to consider. She shows her assets numerous times and what a sight and already worth the price of this DVD. And I have to say what a lucky kid Eric Brown is. He was in two different movies with 2 different Euro sexy stars (the other one is Private lesson with Sylvia Kristel)



The picture quality is good, clear and sharp. The Mono sound is ok, as you are not going to appreciate its dialogue anyway. The dvd has no extra features but again with Sybil Danning as the main attraction, who needs extra. Highy recommended."

Sexy Sybil Danning is the only Spark in this Fire.

"During the 80's, New World Pictures was famous for generating a lot of low quality B movies. Of these I really liked, They're Playing with Fire, featuring Playboy Covergirl Sybil Danning, at her very best playing a manipulative Femme Fatale with a zest for deflowering her young students.
Sybil plays Diane, a College English Professor who schemes with her impotent husband played by Andrew Prine, into scaring his mother and aunt into a rest home and inheriting their estate. Sybil seduces her incredibly wooden co star played by Eric Brown, on a yacht and convinces him to do the deed. Sybil is so convincing in this scene she would be able to ....
Before Brown can scare the in-laws a masked psycho shows up and kills them. The movie then turn into a gory slasher flick. The rest of theflick attempts to make a murder mystery out of this. Believe me, the only spark in this Fire is Sybil Danning. She is one phenomenal woman."

"Sybil Danning gives her greatest performance in this low budget erotic thriller/slasher film. In fact she is the only one who keeps this poorly scripted and silly thriller alive. The three nude scenes that Sybil appears in are the most INCREDIBLE in FILM HISTORY! Sybil dominates her co stars in the acting department also. She is the only one who seems convincing as the greedy femme fatale who uses her charms to manipulate her conspirators to obey her demands to get at her mother in laws inheritance. The film itself is below standard, but SYBIL DANNING IS INCREDIBLE!"
